Factory Audit 2023
Mario Zuccaro, the Founder of Oysta has spent two weeks in China, overseeing the audits of the factories we use to manufacture our devices and sensors.
We are pleased to announce our factories have passed their audit.
What are the audits for?
We do the audits to ensure they are inline with our codes of conduct particularly on child labour. The auditors verify the processes in the company for conformity with the PRC Legal Laws and/or SA8000:2014 and the customer criteria. Verification is performed on a sampling basis; by interviewing the workers, review of the corresponding documentation, and observation of processes.
The audit looks at:
- Factory profile
- Child Labour/ Young Labour
- Forced Labour and Disciplinary practices
- Health and Safety
- Freedom of Association and Collective Bargain
- Working Hours
Do your other suppliers audit the factories they use?
They should. If you don’t know, now is the time to ask to ensure they meet your own codes of conduct.
Work with a Supplier that Cares, too
Not only do we ensure ethical manufacturing, but we also ensure the technology has the maximum level of security to protect vulnerable people's data.
