What is G-Cloud 13?
G-cloud 13 offers public sector organisations a simple, compliant way of purchasing cloud-based services on a Digital Marketplace catalogue. The G-Cloud framework (short for Government Cloud), was launched in 2012, to promote the adoption of cloud computing amongst public sector organisations and ease the procurement process for the UK government and other public sector bodies. Now, the G-Cloud 13, which launched last week, is the 13th iteration of the G-Cloud, and it consists of four product types (4 Lots), including Cloud Hosting, Cloud Software and Cloud Support.
In this latest iteration, Oysta Technology has joined over 5000 suppliers who have been awarded a place on the agreement, offering its solutions within the cloud software (Lot 2) of the framework. For the first time, public-sector organisations can easily purchase Oysta’s IntelliCare™ cloud-based care platform on the government’s marketplace
